At noon on February 22nd, the first group of 11 exchange students from Longyan University to Schmalkalden University of Applied Sciences and Technology in Germany returned home by plane. So far, the first exchange program with Germany concluded successfully.
The first cooperation program in the university with Schmalkalden University in Germany started in June 2016 and lasted for one semester. A seminar sharing these students’ experiences in Germany will be held in mid-March and all staffs and students in the university are welcome to attend.
The cooperation between Longyan University with Schmalkalden University meant the first step of the university towards the internationalization of higher education. The cooperation with Schmalkalden will continue in 2017, with an exchange program for students of Grades 2014 and 2015 and a master’s program for students of Grade 2013. At present, the registration and recommendation concerned is in progress.
