Fujian “Belt and Road” Promoting and Linking-up Conference of International Technology and Production Cooperation was held in Longyan University.
On September 28th, 2016 Strait Technology Transfer--Fujian “Belt and Road”Promoting and Linking-up Conference of International Technology and Production Cooperation was held in the studio of Longyan University.
The conference was sponsored by the Provincial Science and Technology Department, the Provincial Talent Office, the Provincial Development and Reform Commission,the Provincial Commission of Economy and Information Technology and Longyan University, and was organized by the Fujian Strait Technology Transfer Center, Guangdong-CIS International Technology Cooperation Union,the College of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering of Longyan University and the 618 Industry Development Co., Ltd. More than 120 people attended the conference which consists of the leaders and relevant personnel from some provincial and municipal institutions such as Fujian Provincial Science and Technology Department, Development and Reform Commission, the Commission of Economy and Information Technology, the Strait Technology Transfer Center and relevant municipal departments and some delegates from the related enterprises, universities and research institutions. Mr. Li Qinggang, a deputy Mayor of Longyan Municipality, and Mr. Wang Yaohua, President of Longyan University attended the conference which was chaired by Mr. Liu Guomai, a Vice President of Longyan University.
At the conference, Mr. Li Qinggang, a deputy Mayor of Longyan Municipality and Mr. Yu Jiansheng, a deputy director of the Provincial Science and Technology Department, respectively delivered their speeches. Then, Mr. Guo Fengzhi, secretary-general of Guangdong-CIS International Technology Cooperation Union introduced“Belt and Road”International Cooperation in Science and Technology. Finally, four experts from the Ukrainian National Academy of Sciences including Korzhyk Volodymr, dean of Barton Welding Technology Research Institute, and two experts from the Russian Academy of Sciences Siberian branch introduced the advanced technology in the fields of welding, alloy, laser and new materials.
Three projects including the cooperation betweenthe Institute of Metal and Alloy Physics Technology of the Ukrainian National Academy of Sciences and Longyan University were successfully linkedup,and the cooperation agreements were signed respectively. Prior to this, Longyan Municipal Science and Technology Bureau and Longyan Talent Development Grouphad assisted in organizing the experts from Fujian Strait Technology Transfer Center, Guangdong-CIS International Technology Cooperation Union and the CIS countries to visit Longyan three times during which they communicated with more than ten universities and enterprises such as Longyan University, Fujian Longking Co., Ltd. and so on,and several cooperation intentions were reached involving three projects signed at this conference.
It is reported that the Promoting and Linking-up Conferenceis the fourth time this year when Fujian Straits Technology Transfer Center and Guangdong-CIS International Technology Cooperation Union organized the experts of the CIS countries to communicate and cooperate with the institutions and enterprises in Fujian Province.The successof this conference will further promote the industrial upgrading in Longyan City, bring more advanced domestic and foreign technologies to the City, improve the innovation and competitiveness of relevant enterprises and assist the healthy development of related industries in Longyan City.
