Fujian Daily reported on 26 April, 2017 that recently Longyan University held an international seminar on Clean Energy Materials in order to display and exchange the scientific research achievements in the field of clean energy materials at both home and abroad in recent years. More than 60 experts and scholars from different countries and districts such as Belgium, Australia and Germanyas well as from domestic universities, scientific institutes, enterprises and institutions were in attendance. In the seminar, 12 academic lectures and a series of academic exchange activities were held.
The energy refining industry is one of the six key industries in Longyan Municiapal “365” Industrial Development Layout while the ecological environment protection is one of the key issues in Longyan Municipal“Three Campaigns”. It is learned that in order to develop high-quality resources in Longyan, to serve the local economy and to improve the ecological environment, Fujian Provincial Key Laboratory of Clean Energy Materials was set up in Longyan University in December 2015, approved by Fujian Provincial Department of Science and Technology.
